Betty Pearl and Friends

Berry Pearl and Friends is the brainchild of Paul Gentry and tribute to everyone’s favorite aunts and grandmothers. Come watch Betty Pearl and her friends as they spread the love from Mount Holy 2nd Baptist Church and fuel the local gossip train. Betty Pearl videos can be seen on YouTube by simply searching for Betty Pearl Jenkins.

Paul Gentry plays Betty Pearl Jenkins. He is a Spartanburg native and a graduate of Limestone College and currently a piano teacher. Smitty Matthews plays Rubaleen Boudreaux. Smitty brings to life this over the top southern church lady. Smitty is also the former owner of South 29. Jason Pennington plays Alberta, Betty Pearl’s longtime friend. Jason hails from Gastonia North Carolina and is also a pianist.
