Join us June 1 at the Spartanburg West-Main Artist Co-Op from 8-10 p.m. as International celebrity fashion brand The House Of Mann kicks off The Spartanburg Fringe Arts Festival with a fashion show & party.

The House Of Mann was created in September 2017 by Carolina-based artist Brandon Hilton and his partner and it quickly gained notoriety after features in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Paper Magazine, CNN and by dressing some of Pop Culture’s biggest names including Alyssa Edwards, Kim Petras, Laith Ashley, Allie X and Desmond Is Amazing.

On June 1st we’ll be treated to an exclusive showing of their latest collection featuring local models and performers and an after-party that you won’t soon forget!

Shifting in time, this heartwarming and poignant musical depicts Alison at three different ages as she remembers and confronts her relationship with her father and her own coming of age. Directed by Kate Roark, who helmed Proud Mary’s “5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche,” and “Spamalot” at Spartanburg Little Theatre. Musical Director is Janice Issa Wright (“The Rocky Horror Show,” “Spring Awakening,” “Urinetown” at The Warehouse Theatre”).

After capacity crowds in San Francisco, Atlanta, Greenville and Columbia, Jim Dant has agreed to bring this comedy hit to Spartanburg’s Fringe Arts Festival. As pastor of Greenville’s 100% inclusive First Baptist Church, Jim has been complimented, cursed, blessed, blessed out, near deified and damned for being an LGBTQ ally.  It all makes for a lot of laughs and a lot of tears in this unique comedy.

Each performance is about one hour and Jim will be signing copies of his latest book This I Know: A Simple Biblical Defense for LGBTQ Christians in between performances. Get your copy at our merchandise table at the box office.

ABOUT JIM DANT
Jim Dant currently serves as Senior Minister of First Baptist Church, Greenville, SC. He is the author of seven books including his latest – This I Know: A Simple Biblical Defense for LGBTQ Christians. In his free time, he’s a dad to three daughters, Pop to one granddaughter, a semi-professional poker player and a bass guitarist in an R&B Funk Band. He’s just a lot of fun!

Intimate Dinner; or Tap Water Is Fine, a solo show written and performed by Lauren French and directed by Prentiss Standridge, invites the audience to an exclusive and fictional Food and Wine Festival Event hosted at an upscale, exclusive, and fictional fine dining eatery in Downtown Spartanburg. The audience follows a server named Lauren and 17 other characters as she waits on various customers and navigates surprise guest appearances by celebrity chefs. “Intimate Dinner” is a comedic and loving look at our absurd relationships with food and fine dining.
